Use shortcuts in jira

Using keyboard shortcuts provides a quick and easy way to navigate through Jira.

The ability to perform all the shortcuts may vary based on the permissions set in your account.

Activate keyboard shortcuts

1. Click on '?', it is in the top menu.

2. Select Keyboard shortcuts.

The Keyboard shortcuts dialog is displayed and shows commands for the operating system and browser that you're using.

The dialog is divided into sections for the following information:

1. Global shortcuts: shortcuts that can be used when you are in any part of Jira.

2. Navigating issues: shortcuts for navigating through issues.

3. Issue actions: shortcuts for working with issues.

4. App-specific: any application-specific shortcuts. These shortcuts only work in the listed application.
